Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one. Isaiah 44:8

The all-knowing God tells us not to be afraid 365 different times in His Word. Could it be that He knew this is a command that we would need to hear? If we do not heed His command to not be afraid, it opens the door to all types of sin and destruction. Boldness and courage are the opposites of fear and trembling. We cannot be good witnesses if we are found in a state of fear.

If the heavens proclaim and display God’s glory, we should also give witness to God’s glory. One of the main reasons we were created was to give God the glory for who He is. We will be telling of God’s greatness for the rest of eternity; as He is our Rock and our fortress. When we stand on such a solid foundation, we lose our fear and doubt because there is no one to compare with Almighty God’s power, might and understanding of all people and things.
